Basebeton is a ready-to-use type of microcement. Suitable for floors, walls and furniture and available in many colours.

Prime the surface with Basebeton Primer. Do you have an absorbent substrate? Then dilute the primer 1:1 with water.
Apply the first layer of microcement as evenly as possible with a stainless steel spackle knife. Let the layer dry until it’s dry to the touch.
Apply the second layer with the same spackle knife. Let it dry well.
Sand the microcement with a random orbit sander (grit size 120 or 80). When done, remove all dust from the surface.
For the finishing, apply Basebeton coating to make the layer waterproof and stain-resistant. Use a two-component nylon roller for this.

Yes, Basebeton is highly durable and wear-resistant. A Basebeton floor is seamless and waterproof, and therefore suitable for any space, such as the bathroom, kitchen, living room or lavatory. It is much more hygienic than tiles, because there are no joints.

Can I apply Basebeton over existing tiles?
Yes, and that saves you a lot of demolition work. However, the substrate must be smooth and stable. Smooth the substrate first and then apply the microcement. This way you will in no time have a sleek wall or floor with a stunning look of concrete.
Can I order Basebeton in any colour?

How much Basebeton do I need?
Approximately one kilogram of basa/sense per square metre.
How do I make the Basebeton dust-free after sanding?
Use an industrial vacuum cleaner.
How can I best prepare the surface?
Make the surface smooth, clean and dust-free. It depends on the substrate whether and how you should level it and which pre-treatment is required. Consult our manual or ask us for advice.
