Time-saving application: two-layer system
Optimal adhesion on heated floors
Apply MCG Primer evenly using a fleece or foam roller. Drying time is approximately 1 hour (touch-dry).
Apply this one-component paste with a stainless steel plastering trowel. Allow a drying time of 4-6 hours. It is recommended to sand and dust off the technical layer afterward.
On the smooth surface, apply the first layer of Basebeton Basa 2K. Mix bottle B-component into Basa following the correct ratio as outlined in our technical guide on the website. Drying time is 16-24 hours.
Once the Basa 2K layer is completely dry (the next day), sand the Basebeton Grit floor using an eccentric sander with grit size 80 or 100.
Seal the Basebeton Basa 2K layer with a special Basebeton 2K-PU coating for a waterproof and stain-resistant surface. This two-component coating can be applied with a microfiber roller.
